Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are manmade chemicals prevalent in the environment and commonly used in many consumer products. California and many other states have found that PFAS chemicals have made their way into groundwater supplies, In December 2019, OCWD began the nation’s largest pilot testing program to evaluate 14 different adsorbent-based products to remove PFAS from groundwater. In this webinar, OCWD and Jacobs will share preliminary test results and talk about next steps in the program’s process.
